Patio began with a memory. Of a square in Athens at golden hour. Of olive trees casting long shadows over slow conversations. Of espresso served beside ice water, never rushed.
We wanted to bring that ease to Chicago — a place where mornings unfold without urgency, where lunch becomes an afternoon, and where the bar at night feels like an old friend's kitchen.
The menu draws from the whole Mediterranean basin: Greek mezze, Levantine spice, Italian aperitivo, Spanish hours. Our coffee program leans Turkish and Greek. Our cocktails play with anise, citrus, and bitter herbs.
Everything is built in-house. Bread is baked daily. Cocktail syrups are made by hand. The hummus is whipped to order. We move slowly because that's the point.
